“I have been going to Bugsy’s for almost 20yrs now. It was Armond’s back when I was in HS but with same owner the name is all that changed. If you like deep dish you will LOVE this place. Don’t like pizza, as if anyone didn’t, try a fantastic sub. If you want a place to kick up your skates head on up to the sports bar for some great wings and great staff on both floors that will make it your new local hang out.“

Once you visit this restaurant you will make excuses to come back again and again–fun for all ages, and limitless in the number of visits to the buffet. The pesto pizza is the best in the metro area, and tomato sauce always fresh, fresh, fresh. All for under $6.00. Can you beat that?“

“Bugsy’s has the best pizza I’ve had in a while. The very first night spent in Alexandria when we moved here in October 06, we spent looking for something family friendly and fairly quick. Driving down a then unfamiliar King Street, my wife and I were a little anxious when we saw the majority of the restaurants. Spotting the word Pizza we quickly pulled over and went in. It’s definitely a sports bar/restaurant but the two are separated by a floor (the bar is up top I believe). The staff was helpful and friendly, they even took time to talk exclusively to our younger children. The pizza came out pipin’ hot, but oh so good. I’ve only been back one other time but always keep Bugsy’s in the back of my mind as a safe alternative to the other trendy, maybe not-so-kid-friendly eats on King Street.“

“If you like deep-dish pizza then Bugsy’s will fit the bill. For about $7 the lunch buffet includes several types of pizza (also thinner crust) and a limited item, but always fresh salad bar. Nice location near the bottom of King Street.“
